Last month I had a problem with my car rental service, too. I got billed but they forgot to delete the reservation for a car damage with my CC. (I don't had an accident.) And, useless to say, this reservation was made twice. Over 700 Euro were blocked on my card. I called my bank, they told me that the car rental service has to delete the reservation. I called the car rental company, they told me that I have to call my bank about this issue or I have to wait 30 days, after this time the money reservation would be deleted in the system automatically.
What's up with this companies? I gave the car back with no damage but they block the money for 30 days?
I can feel with you, Battuss. Maybe it is harder to do a chargeback here in Europe than in the U.S.
