Hungryman, there's actually a lot I love about the US (besides KFC). I'm not going to judge all Americans by rat's example, he's about the most piss-poor example of a human (let alone an American) that I've ever seen.

I love the U.S. highway system, I'd much rather drop down into the states and travel east or west on an interstate as opposed to the cowpaths that Canada tries to pass off as highways. Our trans-Canada highway is a joke, we can't even have ONE main highway equal to an interstate. Very pitiful.

I was in Montana just over a year ago, and in just about any bar there if you are gambling all your drinks are free, if you order a big steak dinner it's like $4 bucks, the deals are insane. Here in Winnipeg bars, if you're gambling they say "so what?", you get NO deals whatsoever, ever, never. Montana was a blast, in one bar I had about $30 bucks worth of drinks, then I ordered a bottle of wine to take back to the hotel. While I waited for the bottle, I gambled $5 bucks in a VLT and wont $11. The bill for the drinks and the wine was $9! Why? Because I gambled. The drinks were free and the wine was 9 bucks. You'd never get that here.
