I think the thumbs instead of text links idea is great, i was tempted to click on a couple trades
on the design side, why not repeat the index logo on your main page? the impact font text only header looks kindof ugly. then i would favour a sans serif font instead of times. just my 2c.
about the submission procedure i prefer forms but it's just me. about traffic, accept one of my galleries and i'll let you know
