We're at the northern end of the San Andreas fault... so we get quakes all day every day, it's just that we don't usually feel them.
That's the 3rd time I've felt that now
They predict that within 200 years, we'll have a major one that'll basically just level the place. With the predictions for California for September... who knows, it might be sooner
