network in anyway and is a VERIO issue alerts VERIO of this.
Pro Hosters belives the problem to be a misplaced access list
on the
interface.
06:00 PM Pro Hosters works with VERIO to debug issue with Pro Hosters
conn.
VERIO blames Pro Hosters equipment. ProHosters insists it's a
bad
access list.
07:00 PM VERIO confirms it as a bad access list on their switch and
fixes
the issue.
07:15 PM ProHosters notices some ips are going to random places calls
VERIO and VERIO fixes issue with a static route misplaced on
interface.
07:30 PM ALL ISSUES RESOLVED AND CHECKED.


VERIO has agreed to release a letter regarding the downtime and also
issue
an immediate credit giving all users one month free. The month of
December
is free to all customers. January we will begin billing for service
again.
We will bill for the overusage in the month of November by the 20th of
December.

VERIO will release a full RFO (Reason for Outtage) tomorrow December 12
2001
and proactively work so that this sort of thing never happens again.
