What I see in a lot of responses is that, were I to adopte the "solutions" I've heard, I would be keeping part of my life a secret and I'd be involving my kids in keeping the secret by either lying or being less than truthful with them, and I'd be involving them in the decption as well. Now, if there are any licensed therapists in the group, they'll be feeling a little bit of "Hmm, this almost sounds like a dysfunctional family like an alcoholic might have."
