So there I was, having a quick dinner out with my parents at a new, Mexican joint. Our server is a nice Latina lady in her late 20's. All is going well until the bill arrives. My Dad picks it up and starts chuckling. I quickly swipe the bill from him to see what is so humorous. Imagine how horrified I was to learn that the girl who appeared to be in her late 20's was actually a Lolita!!! According to the bottom of our bill, she is #4 in this particular establishment. This tells me that they have at least 3 other young ladies who, by many peoples definition, are way too young to be working there. I even saw this poor innocent child serving drinks to the table next to us. Now, I am not sure what the laws are in the states that you live in, but you have to be at least 18 to wait tables in Oregon if alcohol is being served in the establishment.
Now I feel like a criminal because I was serviced by this "Lolita." I have contributed to the delinquency of a minor!
I mean hell, by their own admittance she is a Lolita. This makes her what... 12 years old at best? Please leave my name out of this if you wish to file a complaint or lawsuit as I did not realize that I was assisting in exploiting this fragile little girl.
