lift kits are bad news.
It puts too much strain on the steering
box and related parts. I have seen people
rip the steering box right out the frame.
If the dealer offers a kit then its safe.
Scoops and spoilers usually leave permanent
holes in the body. The next owner may not
want that. Besides the fact that sometimes
addons do look stupid there are practical
reasons for not adding certain accesories.
I would recommend buying all the accesories
you want when you buy the vehicle. That way
you dont vary from stock and the addons will
increase the value of the vehicle.
If you bought a 1971 Firebird with a rock
crusher 4 spd and a 455 SD it would be worth
a fortune now. If you bought that car and
added those options it would be worthless to
a collector ( except for parts ) .
