In fact, Greenspan and the Federal Reserve LOWERED the interest rates due to the CRASHING Bush economy! They kept lowering it in hopes of STIMULATING a very down economy brought on by Bush's tax cuts (WHICH Greenspan opposed!) and other idiotic acts by the Bush administration.
