USS Mount Whitney recently returned from its seven month deployment to the Horn of Africa region in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and is currently undergoing routine maintenance in the shipyard.
Now if you remember after Operation Anaconda, there was rumors floating around the Usama would wander back to Yemen after being shown the door in Afghanistan, well what region is basically the Horn of Africa?
Somalia, & Yemen, two hotspot for radical muslim fundamentalism...

The USS Mount Whitney (LCC 20) serves as the Flagship for Commander Second Fleet/Commander Striking Fleet Atlantic.
As the most sophisticated Command, Control, Communications, Computer, and Intelligence (C4I) ship ever commissioned, MOUNT WHITNEY incorporates various elements of the most advanced C4I equipment and gives the embarked Joint Task Force Commander the capability to effectively command all units under the command of the Commander, Joint Task Force.

It seems that given all that information, that the Mount Whitney was the Admiral's flagship, that their own
website is one of the most bland sites in the Navy only recently added
some content recently, and all the high value enemy combatants have been held in Naval brigs makes you wonder if Usama has been reciving treatment waiting for a few weeks before November 2nd to have the White House to annouce that members of Delta, Grey Ghost, and Task Force 121 have "captured" Usama bin Laden in Northwestern Pakistan alive.
Just don't be suprised if UBL pops up alive in the next few weeks...
