Spain was intimidated with how rich the Jews were.
Spain kicked most out, the one's who didn't left were forced to convert to christianity. The one's who refused to convert, were tortured to death......The Spanish Inquisition was ruthless, and beyond horrible.
Regardless, once they converted to christianity, they were still prosperous...then they found ways to kill them b/c they were't true catholics!
