My entire point of this thread was that if you're going to work for someone for ten + years, make something out of it instead of always taking shit from managers who keep changing every five years.

I started out as a janitor. I was always in the electronics area playing with the nifty gadgets and watching tv during my breaks and after my shifts were over. I started learning more about the products and later asked my manager if I could try working as a salesman on a probationary status. My english had improved a bit since I came to the US and my manager was nice enough to give me a chance. Now I am one of the top salesmen in our region and I owe it all to my former manager for giving me a chance. Thank you Mr. Salabadad
