Let me teach you something about working, ok?
A lot of the times if you take a management position you end up sacrificing the shifts you can handle. Also, a hike in pay can throw you into a different tax bracket that ends up earning you LESS.
Also, not everyone wants the stresses of a managerial position.
Go work in the real world for a few years doing hard work, sales and stressful positions on both sides of the wall, grunt, and managerial then come back and tell me the guy is a loser for not being manager.
