No surprise : Bush Irish Backer Funds Nader

THE former U.S. ambassador to Ireland, Richard Egan, a major backer of President George W. Bush?s campaign, is funding independent candidate Ralph Nader in an effort to siphon off votes from the Democratic Party.
New figures released by the Federal Elections Commission reveal that Egan, his son and his daughter-in-law have given Nader the maximum donations allowable under U.S. campaign finance law.
