Yeah, it's a pretty stupid climbing up on a burning US tank when there's american choppers nearby.
But the iraqi ppl didn't ask for this war and alot of them are against it. Yeah, saddam sucked but have to live in a fucking warzone sucks as well. Imagine it yourself.
Since Iraq didn't attack USA I think USA have to be very carefull how they conduct their attacks and strikebacks. Since the USpersonal had been evacuated (as I understood it) shooting at dancing ppl and kids seems like a bad idea. No matter what their political views may be, it's their land, USA is the invaders (and invaders on very loose grounds).
It's a propagandawar.. if USA doesn't clearly show they're there to protect the iraqi ppl the last reasons for this war fade away. We all know what happened to all the other "reasons" bush had.
