Everyone who is going to be having this done worry so much! HONESTLY! If you are going to a certified surgeon, it will take no more than 40-60 mins (from prep time to finish) and you will be pleasantly drugged up during it.
So after the surgery is finished..you are THROUGH with the difficult part. There will be some tenderness and soreness for awhile, but you WILL not even notice it after a few weeks.
The only thing that I thought kinda weird was "NO TEETH BACK THERE!" Seemed like an empty hole!
Now..don't even notice.

1 month to completely heal? blehhhh, that sucks.... My sugery actually only took 30 minutes and that was for all 4 teeth... The surgeon was fast! I think they also injected stuff into my lips, because they were kind of cut and scraped after the surgery.. but it's been 4 days and the nasty crust peeled off my lips so they are back to normal!!
I feel sooo good because I am able to eat a lot, all I have been doing is eating the whole day... I had half a pound cake, and then some lukewarm coffee, and then some Neptune crab salad, and some Jello, and then some pudding.... and then some shrimp pasta... and 2 scoops of Baskin Robbins ice cream... I think all this eating is helping me heal quicker! Maybe some soup later too for a late night snack
