It's all part of the giant pollitically correct pile of shit we sometimes have to deal with. If you have black history month you are sensitive to african americans. If you have white history month you would be a racist. The other day I got in a big argument with someone because I said that this girl was a mexican and they told me that was a racist thing to say. I said " I'm from america and I'm an american if someone is from canada they are canadian if you are from mexico you are mexican. . . " but somehow it seems that mexican has become a a bad word.
Personally I am sick of all the african-american, asian-american ect namesakes. to me it is simple. If you were born in this country, or you came to this country and are now a citizen then you are an American, nothing more nothing less and you are afforded the rights and privilages of being an American, nothing more, nothing less. The more people insist on being called by a specific name, the more they insist on being set apart from the group.
