IBM just gained back the world's fastest supercomputer title from NEC of Japan which has held the top spot for the past 3 years.
IBM's new supercomputer Blue Gene/L can crunch calculations at speeds of 36 Teraflops. (A Teraflop is 1 Trillion Calculations per Second.)
The system has 130,000 CPU's and takes 64 racks of space.
