If you were going to use a picture to get a buffer overrun what would you attach it to? Pics of a puppy? No you would use porn, sex sells.
When I used to "administrate" other people's computer we would send the client disguised as a porn program or if the person was not computer savy we would say it was a picture. This is nothing new.
