I know this statement will be unpopular but I have detected no difference in signups with the donation box.
I think everyone smells trouble with the feds in the future, and I have heard speculation as to why iBill may be doing this, I dont know which to believe. Both reasons sound plausible.
As long as signups go through, I dont care if they make donations to NAMBLA.
