Bush administration has limited spending on this, not limited research. In fact, there are no limits on the research to this day, there ARE limits on how many they use up for research. Also, there has no been no proof, not even remotely, that would claim that stem cell technology could improve a chronic malfunction, like spinal cord injury of the late Christopher Reeve. In fact, he even stated that publicly, but he also wants spending to increase so more information can be gained on this issue as quickly as possible. The democrats will pick up any issue if they think it will help them win, and Senator Edwards claiming Bush is the reason Christopher Reeve couldn't walk, or didn't make it.....Well , if you have half a brain you will laugh that off, coming from a trial lawyer you should take everything he says with a grain of salt.
