I'm a die hard Arles user too...figured out a few javascript banner rotator scripts and can really crank them out fast now :)
for a paysite and massvie amounts of content, there are a few gallery generator programs, but for a total content managment solution, I highly recomend A-ConMan Software

we're using it for all of our forthcoming DarkDollars sites.....it has a bit of a learning curve (for morons like me anyways) but once you get it rocking, nothing beats it...
