My current favorite is <a href=http://www.xfreehosting.com>Xfreehosting</a> -- nice little text banners, ftp access, and pages loading zippy fast.
But smutserver is also worth waiting for. Banners a little bigger and pages perhaps a smidge slower, but still WAY faster than, for example, thunderfree.
