Here's what I would recommend.... Be different!
Research the niche you're working on...
If the majority of the sites in that niche are PAY AVS, then you create FREE AVS.
If the majority of the sites in that niche are FREE AVS, then create a PAY AVS.
If they're roughly the same, then, well, created different entry pages with different AVS's and see what works ;)
