Yes, cogent is good now, the only bad thing about them is the perceived reputation that theyve aquired over the years from mostly causes not related to them.
Cogent is better than BtN, HE.net, and I'd even say Nlayer at this point.
Although west coast presence is still lacking, central and north east (CHI), as well as east coast are pretty strong.
I havent had any downtime over Cogent in over a year now.
