But aside from that, what is preventing you from starting your own leagues where there is no testing for steroids? As a libertarian, it's a bit strange to criticize the decisions of organizations when you have the choice to just create competing organizations. Just let the free market do its job
1. That ensures that only the wealthies athletes will be competitive.

2. Legalization does not necessarily mean increased usage. That is one of the main arugments for all prohibition groups, and I have never come across an example of it being proven true in history.
