Umm, have you ever had a broken toe?
My toe was broken just before a joint, and was dislocated. It was just hanging by the skin, and since there's nothing a doc can do to a broken toe except pull it back in place the broken toe is free without any protection. it's agonizing when it hits anything, I even woke up in the middle of the night when my toe hit the blanket.
Why wouldn't the doc give drugs for the pain? Why should I suffer? I don't get it. I'd rather not feel the pain than feel it, not my thing, pain. It's not like they gave me morphine, just some very strong painkillers.
