Rubbish, I would put Brisbane ahead of adelaide anyday. A Shithole? Geezus when was the last time you were in Brisbane?
Sydney is the place to go to do all the touristy stuff. Theres really no point going to Australia as a tourist if you dont goto Sydney.
My favourite city is Melbourne though, its culturally diverse and the people are alot nicer down there.
If you wanna party, it depends what you wanna do. Sydney has the best hardcore dance nightclubs, but you really cant go past Surfers Paradise in Queensland for girls in bikinis everywhere, including all the clubs/pubs.
