Never tried astroglide but have used wet light. I do not use it regularly but it works good when you're having a fuck marathon and you need a little help
The female perspective that I can give ya on this is that most personal lubricants are highly irritating to my female parts (and other females from what I hear), but Wet Light is water based and does not seem to irritate me.
Those oil based lubes such as Wet Platinum are thick and very slippery and mostly used for anal sex.
I used to work behind the scenes at a big internet porn studio and was often in charge of the lube... Every room had a big pump bottle of WET brand lube, we'd get it for free from them.
Every week we had to clean the lube bottles as they'd get covered with goopy crud.
