Personaly I've no problem with much of the US and have very good friends and family who are from the US.
However I'd hazard a guess that your total inability to see the points that do piss off others is 95% of the cause of the dislike in the first place. Even to the point were you can't see for the most it isn't hatred and certainly isn't envy
(muslim countries excluded from the above remark about it not being hatred)
