Thumbalina..... that is awesome...... you can say what you want about women going the extra mile and blah blah blah...... but it is alot of a two way street. If we are treated with dignity, respect and such, there is literally NOTHING we won't do for our men... or anyone else for that matter. Ok, not all of us, like men, there are some seriously nasty women out there that are self serving, as there are men........ but when you are lucky enough to find a mate, like I have, that will give you the moon and stars, then the desire to give that back is immense. I am happy for you. I am sure it meant every bit as much to you as this did to my husband. That's just awesome.
And I know all too well about other things coming first. Years ago we were homeless and he had to sell his Wine Red Custom to get us back here where we could get back on our feet, he made a sacrifice for me and my kids and that said SOOO much to me, so it has been all important for me to be in a place where I could replace some of what he gave up for us.
