Here in San Diego I know the gov. is tryin got limit them big time. You see them all over. Money Tree is the bigest but there are so many smaller ones. They charge big time for a payday loan almost to where you have to get a second payday loan to pay off the first one so that is why the gov. is stepping in to regulate them a bit. Was in the newspaper about a week ago.
They are also online now as well. There is one that lets you pay anything with your credit card. You go online tell them what you need to pay then they charge your CC and send off a check to your bill.
