While we are gravely concerned over the unscrupulous practices associated with this individual, we feel it's important to make a distinction between those practices and the methods used to promote our site, including up-stream traffic acquisition. I think everyone would agree that you can exercise control and impose rules over the way an affiliate promotes your sites. But, you quickly move into a grey area when you concern youself (as a receiving sponsor) with whatever else that person does -- not directly related to the sending of traffic your way.
With that said, we would like assure all of you that we DO NOT tolerate ANY violations of our affiliate T&C. And, if we find any violations, we will not hesitate to take the appropriate action.
I urge all of you to separate your emotional position regarding this individual from the cold, hard, factual necessities of the law and of our rights within the law. Again, we have a right (and will not hesitate to exercise the right) to censure an affiliate who violates the rules IN CONNECTION WITH PROMOTING OUR SITES. But, we can't show up at this guy's house and bust him for not paying child support, bouncing checks, shoplifting or even stealing from our friends.
