I agree with you Caroline. I'm not racist either. We all come from the same place to begin with so we're all just the same.
I suppose black Americans can 'get away' with wearing these things because their ancestors were persecuted for generations by the European white settlers.
I'm not saying it is right or wrong to wear these t-shirts. As people in the porn industry we champion each individual's right to say and do pretty much what he/she wants to do. It is a bit twisted that a 'white power' tee is considered offensive. But then saying that, I don't think it comes down to the actual t-shirt.
Instead it is USUALLY the people who wear them and their views on society. The KKK has done in the past, and continues to do now, horrific things to people of all 'non-white' races. I think that it is the implications that the words have gained over the centuries that offend, and not necessarily the words themselves.
