A lot of the problems are self inflicted at this point.
Black guy is born into a ghetto situation. Busts his ass through school to graduate with all A's. Works two jobs and gets through college to get his degree with whatever financial aid he gets from the govt.
Works hard at his job to make a success of himself and is able to move out of the ghetto into a nice area.
Is he considered a role model?
No. He's called an Uncle Tom and outcasted by the very people who cry about injustices and say the fact that they're stuck in the ghetto is someone else's fault.
Instead of emulating and following the people who are successes, they kick them out, and go back to crying about how unfair life is.
