I'm finally back to the real world, back to the grind. I just spend the most 4 memorable days of my life in Jamaica, it was off-the-hook! (no literally, no one had cell phone service

)
Through those 4 days, I had the chance to Jet-ski in beautiful blue waters, jump off of a cliff into the ocean, sit on the beach with wonderful friends, enjoy the company of good people, good food, and good times. I will never forget the beautiful open-water catamaran cruise, because of the generousity of people like Steve Lightspeed. The only regret is that I did not bring my wife to share the experience.
The trip was truly amazing, but it was not without it's setbacks. I had a brief bought with Polio (according to Dr. LAJ, M.D. and Masters in B.S.), as I had to have friends like Dan, Eric, Steve and Mitch help me walk (you'll see the pics from JFK) as I could not on my own. Ok, it probably wasn't polio, but dehydration combined with physical stress. None-the-less they helped me get to the poker game so they could take my money.
While I can not truly summarize the experience in words, YP Jamaica was among the most memorable trips I've ever taken, for those of you who could not make it, do everything in your power to make the next one, you simply will not regret it.
I would like to thank the following people for making my trip the incredible experience it was, and I will try to avoid naming everyone there (though it will be hard not to!)
Aaron & Danielle (YNOT) - Twinkley did an absolute superb job at organizing this event and deserves mucho-crédito for what she did. I had some great conversations with Aaron and realized he's just as much geek as I am, which is a good thing!
Steve Lightspeed - We jumped the cliff together (along with another person) and were among the few to have the balls to do it. Had some great conversation over dinner, and I have a whole new respect for Lightspeed that I wish I had the chance to learn earlier. This guy is as smart as he is respected, and your just plain silly if your not promoting his stuff.
Shannon Lightspeed - Thanks for the conversation we had, I wish I could have talked to you more later on. She had some great insight about the industry, as well as insight into my own personal life. We shall continue the conversation another day!
Brooks (Aiken) and Becca (Bondage.com) - Had some great conversations and just a good time with these guys, some great people here! I am looking forward to meeting up with you guys again in San Diego, I wish you both the very best!
Conner - I don't know why we've never sat down and chatted at any of the other shows we keep meeting at, but it was definately good to get to know you better, and I look forward to talking with you at future events. Ynot is certainly lucky to have you!
Dan (CamZ) - I really appreciate your help and kind-heartedness (and of course your wife, lol) it was great to get to know you. I'm glad to see there are honest and down to earth webmasters still keeping this business the way it should be. Your a class act!
Mitch (Netbilling) - My only regret is not making the golf game! It was great to get to know you and your wife, I look forward to meeting you both again. I've always had a great respect for Netbilling, but meeting you in person just made it stronger. Your a hell of a singer too!
Zoe (CamZ) - Dan is lucky to have you on his team, you are definately a great person, and a great asset to the CamZ team. I look forward to having a longer conversation with you at another time, but seriously, "Respekt mon"!
Rico (PonchoDog) - Dude, you are the only one who made me understand what foot fetishes are all about, you talk about that subject with a passion. Your a hell of a funny guy, I'm glad I had the opportunity to meet you. Good luck to you and your soon-to-be, I wish you and your wife all the best!
Phil (ItsYourPorn.com) - it was great to meet a fellow canadian on this trip, Phil is a super nice guy and a very honest webmaster. Next YP bring your buddies down and we'll all have a great time!
Jim (AdultLegal) - there's something about your boston accent that just seems friendly, Jim had some great stories to tell and it was good to get to know you. Your a laid-back kinda guy that likes to chill, which is why we got along so well!
Cyndalie and Brian - guys it's always great to see you at the shows, I'm sure we'll be seeing each other more and I look forward to one day kicking your butts at a game of darts!
VirtuMike - I only got to really talk to you near the end of the trip, but I'm glad I did and I'm sure we'll be talking more throughout the year. We seem to have a lot in common, I'm glad we finally had the chance to have a real conversation!
and last, but not least,
LAJ and
YNOTBob. Bob, one of these days we are going to take over the world, so look out world. LAJ I look forward to seeing you in San Diego and I hope we get a chance to sit down and talk more while I'm there. The 4 days I had in Jamaica were simply not enough to spend some quality time with you and learn more about what makes you tick.
To anyone I have not listed, Im sorry I just can't make this thread any longer! There are many other people I would like to mention that made my trip memorable, and thank you for the great company you were.

Now go see the pictures (with commentary) and make sure you come to YP next time!
