I don't understand it either. I personally never cared much about age. I was 20 dating a freshly turned 16 year old. My friends found it odd, I was like "wtf. she's perfectly capable of making her own decisions and is not a teenie bopper. I'm only 20, what's the difference between 19 being a teen and 20 being 20?" besides, she was harassing me for sex ever since I met her. SHE was the sicko in this game! I only boiked her after she was 16 tho
Maybe the reason why under 18 is looked down upon when someone 18-20 is dating them is because of the laws in place against such relationships in some places and because of the fact that most 16-17 year olds are naiive and about as sharp as a sock full of soup and usually end up being taken advantage of, knocked up and left by herself a few months later.
