What sort of changes did you make as per or for your S.O./Lover/Partner/Mother, etc. to be in this industry?

I've made a few, but they were for me, because I wanted to do them, not because he asked or insisted.

Was curious how everyone else deals with their loved ones to keep bringing the bacon home.
