I was the eldest of what was quickly becoming a huge family (12 kids). Mom didn't work, and dad didn't make much, so it seemed that all of my clothes were coming from thrift shops.
By the time I hit the 6th grade I knew I needed to do something if I wanted to own anything decent, so I got a paper route. The first month I was named carrier of the month for doubling the number of subscribers on my route.
So, 6th grade is like 11 or 12?
