looks like you are on the right track with your blog. Make sure to think up a good niche that you like and wont tire writing about. You'll be writing about it alot over time and if you arent that interested in your niche and just choose that niche cuz you think it will "sell/convert" better, then you wont deliver the way you should over time. love the topic your blog is about. Your visitors will feel your love ;-)
And the questions you asked me about how to best feed The Google Gorilla? This is how I see it:
We are standing in a zoo. The 600lb Google Gorilla is sitting just yonder in the distance just chillin', knawin' on a branch. He's HUNGRY. You and I are keepin' our distance. Rightly so cuz the Google Gorilla can be dangerous sometimes. Wipe you (and your site) right out its listings with one swat.
PornHero says "OK, iwantchixx, wanna make some money? Feed Google that ripe banana (your blog) you have in your hand."
That's when you turn to me and ask:
"But PornHero, HOW should I feed Google this banana?"
Ya, umm, just so you know I am not a Gorilla specialist. I know what they like to eat - and you get paid well for feeding them - but I dont proclaim to have spent years studying its eating patterns. Nor do I want to. Its a fuckin gorilla. I prefer spending time concerned with building my next site.
I mean you could put on your favorite dress, peel the banana and walk up to Google with it, all the while singing When The Saint Go Marching In.
Let me know how that works out for you. Hopefully he likes that song. (ie stress about every little detail of optimizing your site as much as possible - some of those questions you asked I never even heard of
)
But I prefer to peel the banana (do some optimizing) and pitch it from where I am standing - then look around me for another banana (build another site).
I hope you get my little analogy.
