Hmmm. I would hope for a little more than an "adequate" defense at the coastline, given that until recently, our government considered sheets of scrap metal an "adequate" armor substitute for our troops.
What was it Rumsfeld had said? "You go to war with the army you have, not the army you might want, or wish to have"?
