How FUCKED is this?
A military unit of 250+ Men and Woman returned from IRAQ home to the Bay Area today.
Over 1000 family members waiting anxiously for over 15 months.. all standing on the sidewalks.
The soldiers disembark six buses (an hour late), then the unit commander ordered all service men and woman to march in front of the families and stand at attention not 5 feet from family members for an HOUR while they gave speeches.
It got so bad that soldiers broke down, kids were crying.. some soldiers broke rank and left.
Fucked up. For god's sake, let them go home!
