Is that a nice way of saying "I don't do galleries, yet i tell other people what the best way to do galleries is." ?
Did i read that correctly? You said you hadn't ever used dreamsubmitter, and then followed it up with telling me what your submitter does and what dreamsubmitter doesnt. How would you know? Dreamsubmitter IS hands off if you want it to be, users CAN be on vacation and have it run, the only difference is yours runs server side (so yes the users machine can be turned off) and dreamsubmitter runs client side, which requires the machine be left on. (i could give some examples of why client side is better, and examples of stability issues with server side software such as yours, with incidents that include your program in particular, but i won't bother, I prefer to win webmasters with what my software can do, rather than what my competitors can't do.)
And again, you've never used dreamsubmitter so how can you in your right mind boast this? You have no basis for this comment. If you were to say something like "Some users of my software have used both dreamsubmitter and gallerysubmitter and prefer gallerysubmitter" then fine, but to come out and start shovelling shit is quite unprofessional and I don't care to be a part of it.
I know for a fact that i have had users move to dreamsubmitter from gallerysubmitter, chameleon, advanced, and many others. And say to me that they would never go back. And i have proven my submitter is run by guys that actually do galleries and that make money doing it.
So before you start spouting off with another lame reply about how your submitter is better and people should use yours, just sit and think for a bit. If you can come up with some new arguements or facts, then fine, but i don't care to read another one of your posts with a recycled sales pitch with no foundation, and to be honest, I don't think anyone else does either.
