LSD is pretty safe in small doses. As a matter of fact, one of my college professors wrote a book on the effects of drug in the brain. He told me in private that LSD, in small doses, is one of the safer illegal drugs.
LSD is actually a very interesting drug to experiment with. If you take enough, you will experience strong visual and audial hallucinations. A number of years ago, I took some LSD "gel tabs" and had massive hallucinations. I saw tatoos swimming around on a guy's body. Someone dropped some water and I saw it turn into a "water snake" and slither away.
If your brain can fabricate such things, it is interesting to speculate what schizophrenics, etc. are seeing and why. There is some evidence, I believe, that hallucinating schizophrenics experience long-term the same chemical changes in the brain that someone that takes LSD experiences short-term.
Interestingly, there is now an LSD antitode; an injection that causes the blockage of serotonin 2 receptors.
There is a plant called Salvia Divinorum that is a hallucinogen found in Mexico. It is not yet illegal in the United States and most other countries. (It is illegal in Australia). I have never tried it but it is available for sale on the internet. There is an article at ABC news about it and you can find it for sale on the internet quite easily. You can have it safely shipped to your house.
