Not as long as the tobacco industry keeps paying the big bucks to the lawmakers.
It's way less harmful than tobacco, but much easier to grow and they don't like that idea. Even though they would definitely sell it by the pack.. and are more than likely hoarding it just waiting for the day that it becomes legal, they'd lose big bucks from everyone growing their own...
Then there's the tax nonsense.. I grow it, sell it to you, Uncle Sam makes no money. Woud be too hard to control.. kinda like sellin moonshine..
