I would kind of agree with you... I have had better latte's, mochas, and coffee at other places. I think for me it's convenience and I know if I go to Seattle, Portland, New York, Miami, Houston, or anywhere else there is a Starbucks that it will taste the same.
I think it is kind of like McDonalds. Do they have the best burgers? Hell no, but it's convenient and no matter where you go a Big Mac tastes like a Big Mac.
