Save yourself the trouble.. he pulled the same responses with me. "You can't even afford to go to the Carribean" all the while the cost of living where he is is about half of what mine is. Was a weak arguement. But he stuck with it.
It's really pretty useless to have conversations that go like this:
"What is it you do?"
"I do stuff."
"So nothing involved in our industry then?"
"I live in the Carribbean! You've never even been there. Ha!"
"Do you have any websites at least?"
"I live here, you'll never have enough money to even take a vacation here. So there!"
How do you have a conversation with someone like that?
