1.) Who in your opinion are the Top 3 recurring sponsors in terms of retention?

2.)Do you ever think any measures will ever be passed in the US
government, such as COPA that would ban ALL adult material, or would require all explicit material to be placed behind some sort of AVS?

3.)Do you think it's better to have a few large sites with A LOT of traffic (such as a high traffic TGP) , or thousands of small 3-4 page feeder sites with agressive advertising, fpa's, with the ONLY purpose of sending a surfer to a sponsor and getting traffic from SE and small link lists? I personally think the latter is MUCH better and it's worked for me quite well , but everyone these days is so caught up in "high traffic 100k tgp's" (bad traffic), so I would like to know what YOU think.

4.) Do you think it's better to send traffic directly to a sponsor or to send them to a targeted full page ad with with blurs and exits where you offer the surfer other niches of interests and "Join For Free" stuff on the last exits if he doesn't bite? Do you feel this is maximizing you traffic or is it better to get a surfer to the sponsor as quick as possible?

Thanks 12 Clicks!
1) It's hard to be too specific about a top 3 only because personally, 2 of the recurring sponsors I use are private and don't advertise to the general webmaster pool at all so why mention them? yet they are my two best.
I think, as with any thing, you need to learn from trial and error. if you get twice as many signups with sponsor a than sponsor b but sponsor be retains 5 months and sponsor a retains 3 months, you'd still go with sponsor a.
trial and error is the bets way to learn in this business. its slow, but it pays off so much better in the long run than being told who to use.

2) no, the first amendment will always protect you. There may be times of unrest but since the 1st amendment is a liberal device, you will get support from unusual corners protecting it.

3) hehe, thats easy. I like small sites sending traffic to its sponsors. TGPs are all about traffic and not sales. the small feeder sites are only about sales. oh, and the bandwidth bill is much smaller than tgp galleries.

4)I like full page ads so you control the exits and pops. I like to work with sponsors to allow me to link my links to a duplicate front page of thiers that I serve and control and link THAT page to their join page.
