Bad response from the bank doesn't always mean they declined you, they may have been unavailable when we tried to talk to them, those things happen. The banking system relies on computers and connections too, and if they time out, there's not much we can do to force it.
Or your bank may have declined you, it's not always a matter of you having credit available. Abnormal spending patterns, especially online or while traveling, often trigger a bank decline.

Thanks for the possible explanations as to why the card was declined KimmyKim. It was just a piss off to have a perfectly good card denied when I needed that s/n# too get the software working so I could do some work.
