stay away from fights unless it is worth it....i used to kick box and when they put me in the ring to see if i would be competitve it only took a few hard punches in my head to make me say wtf?
keep your fighting for defending your honour or your familys honour...fighting to say you are best is only for world class professionals that have dedicated their lives to it...other then that...why risk a broken arm/leg or a re-occuring back injury etc

Torn ligaments in my ankle I'm currently rehabbing
torn ligament in my wrist that can't be rehabbed
Slap tear to the labrum
detached tendons in my right bicep
frayed rotator cuff
had a hole in my lip you could stick your thumb in from a foot to the chops
so many bruises my chest and arms looked like they were zebra striped
I'm the BEST!! lol
Believe it or not, what you get out of it is worth all the pain and then some. I couldn't see ever not training unless I get injured so bad it's just not possible. GJJ isn't really about fighting per se, it's about bringing out the best of yourself and finding out what you're really capable of when the pressure is on.
